Main Venues

The two main venues are Bellingen High School and St Mary’s Primary School.

You will find all location, meeting and parking information below in the venue information when you click on the information arrows.

All other venues are listed below.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a shuttle bus that runs morning and afternoon around all of our venues. Please check here for more information.

Unfortunately we cannot provide a lunch time bus shuttle service.

PLEASE NOTE:

ROOMS ARE NOT FULLY ALLOCATED AT BELLINGEN HIGH SCHOOL UNTIL FRIDAY 10TH JANUARY. WE CANNOT ADVISE YOUR COURSE ROOM BEFORE THEN.

Bellingen high school

  • 1125 WATERFALL WAY, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    Via Waterfall Way or Crown Street. The Waterfall Way entrance is opposite the Golf Course. There is a large bus bay on the Crown Street side.

    Entry to the school from Waterfall Way is up the driveway hill, the office block is at the top on the left.

    This venue is a 13 minute walk to town.

    PARKING
    Carpark available at the Waterfall Way entrance. Please do not take your car up the steep driveway, you must park at the bottom.

    Street parking available at both the Waterfall Way and Crown Street entrances.

    At Crown Street you can head up the school driveway in between the bus bay and the paddocks, if it isn’t full already.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    Guides (in the bright green t-shirts) will meet you at one of the 3 entrances to the high school.

    If a guide isn’t immediately visible when you arrive, please seek one out or just wait until one comes back from their current task. They will be very busy on Monday morning, so please be patient.

    There is a large school map by the school office.

ST MARY’S PRIMARY SCHOOL

  • 14 PARK STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    The school is easy to find on Park Street, opposite the sports ground. Entry via gate at the front of the school on Park Street.

    This venue is a 5 minute walk to town.

    PARKING
    Parking is in front of the school on Park Street and surrounding streets.

    You can also park in the gravel area at the sports ground opposite the school.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    Guides (in the bright green t-shirts) will meet you at the entrance school.

    If a guide isn’t immediately visible when you arrive, please seek one out or just wait until one comes back from their current task. They will be very busy on Monday morning, so please be patient.

    MEALS

    There may be a canteen onsite, we will advise later in the year. If there isn’t a canteen, delivery will be available from the high school. Alternatively, you can BYO lunches.

ALL OTHER VENUES

Bellingen Guide & Scout Hall

  • 12 BOWRA STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    The hall is easy to spot from Bowra Street, look for the large grass area at the front.

    This venue is an 8 minute walk to town.

    PARKING
    Plenty of parking is available in front of the hall on Bowra Street.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    There is only one course at this venue, so head straight into the hall to meet your tutor.

BELLINGEN SHOWGROUND

  • ENTRANCE VIA BLACK STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    This large venue is easy to spot from the corner of Black and Hammond Streets. Entry via gate at the corner of Black Street.

    This venue is a 9 minute walk to town.

    PARKING
    On Black Street and Hammond Street.

    Don’t take your vehicle onsite as this is the camping area and is very full during Camp Creative.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    Your course is in the pavilion closest to the Black Street entrance. This is the cream coloured building visible in the photo above.

BELLINGEN YOUTH HUB

  • 2 WILLIAM STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    It is right on the corner of William & Church Streets. Entry via wooden doors at the front.

    This venue is a 1 minute walk to town.

    PARKING
    There is a lot of rear to curb street parking on William Street. If this is full, there is a large (untimed) public carpark just over the road in Creek Lane.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    Head to reception through the wooden doors at the front. A staff member will be there to direct you.

THE STABLES

  • 6A CHURCH STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    Go down the driveway in between the Bellingen Ambulance station (6 Church Street) and the public toilet.

    This venue is in the centre of town.

    PARKING
    There is a carpark right in front of the building, down the driveway mentioned above. If this carpark is full, there is other street parking around the area. It can be quite busy, so allow time to find parking.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    Your course is in the brick building, easy to see once you get down the driveway.

CWA HALL

  • 2 CHURCH STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    This small hall is at the beginning of Church Street, next to a lookout platform, easy to spot.

    This venue is in the centre of town.

    PARKING
    There is a carpark down the driveway next to the Ambulance Station. If this carpark is full, there is other street parking around the area. It can be quite busy, so allow time to find parking.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    There is only one course at this venue, so head straight through the large door at the front left of the hall to meet your tutor.

SENIOR CITIZENS ROOMS

  • 29-31 HYDE STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    Opposite the Diggers Tavern and next to the library on the main street.

    This venue is a 2 minute walk from the nearest cafe.

    PARKING
    Timed street parking. Town can be busy, so allow time to find a carpark. There is a large (untimed) public carpark on Creek Lane. You can also park (untimed) on Ford Street, continue past the Bellingen Council and down the hill next to their driveway. Parking is right next to the river.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    Head onto the small verandah at the front of this building. There are several doors along the verandah, your door is near the middle.

ST ANDREW’S CHURCH

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    On the main street, there is a Mobil service station on the opposite corner.

    This venue is a 2 minute walk from the nearest cafe.

    PARKING
    There is a carpark behind the church buildings, entry via Creek Lane. If this carpark is full, there is a large (untimed) public carpark on Creek Lane.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    There is only one course at this venue, so head straight through the small side door (not the front door) of the church to meet your tutor.

ST MARGARET’S CHURCH HALL

  • 100 HYDE STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    At the top of town, next to the cenotaph. Entry via front driveway, on Oak Street.

    This venue is a 1 minute walk from the nearest cafe.

    PARKING
    You can park on the grass behind the Anglican Centre. Drive between the church and the hall, to find the parking area.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    There is only one course at this venue. Located in the Anglican Centre hall, opposite the church itself.

UNITING CHURCH HALL

  • 28 HYDE STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    Behind St Andrews Church, opposite the Mobil Service station. Entry via paved courtyard on Ford Street.

    This venue is a 2 minute walk from the nearest cafe.

    PARKING
    There is a carpark behind the church buildings, entry via Creek Lane. If this carpark is full, there is a large (untimed) public carpark on Creek Lane.

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    Behind the Post Office on the main street of town.

    This venue is a 1 minute walk from the nearest cafe.

    PARKING
    Timed street parking only. Town can be busy, so allow time to find a carpark. There is a large (untimed) public carpark on Creek Lane.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM
    When you're facing the Post Office, head around the right hand side and up the ramp to the left.

  • LOCATING THE VENUE
    Above the pizza shop and next door to a garden cafe, on the main street of town.

    This venue is in the centre of town.

    PARKING
    Timed street parking only, although you may be able to find a park in the lane behind this venue. Town can be busy, so allow time to find a carpark. There is a large (untimed) public carpark on Creek Lane.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM

    There will be a sandwich board on the footpath to help you find it. Go down the walkway towards the pizza shop from the main road, you will find a set of stairs leading up to the studio.

bellingen MEMORIAL HALL

  • 32 HYDE STREET, BELLINGEN

  • LOCATING THE VENUE

    On the main street, next to Diggers Tavern and the pedestrian crossing.

    This venue is a 1 minute walk to the nearest cafe.

    PARKING
    Timed street parking only. Town can be busy, so allow time to find a carpark. There is a large (untimed) public carpark on Creek Lane.

    FINDING YOUR CLASSROOM

    From the main street when facing the hall, take the ramp on the right hand side of the entrance. Follow this ramp up to the top and you will see the entry door on your left. From the Creek Lane carpark, look for the curved concrete stairs heading up on the right side of the carpark (facing town, with the sports grounds behind you). Head up these stairs and the entry door is directly in front of you.
